PrimevalPassion Page 5

He moved away from the ten new recruits. Mark and Suzanne could handle them for a few moments. He simply couldn’t let this opportunity pass. He wanted Julia with an intensity he hadn’t experienced in a long time. The timing wasn’t right but he couldn’t stop himself. He had to know her response to his gift basket.

  “Julia,” he called.

She paused and turned, poised for flight. He knew he only had a minute to connect before she left.

  “How are you?”

  “Busy.”

“Could I help you with your supplies?”

“I’ve got them, thanks.” She turned away from him.

  He moved into her path.

“I hope I’ll see you at the party tonight.”

“Parties aren’t really my thing. Thanks for the invitation though.” Julia moved to step around Alex. He blocked her path.

  “Julia.”

She looked up into his sky-blue eyes, eyes that blazed with an intensity that called to her. Her cunt clenched and her face flamed as she remembered his gifts. “What?” she asked.

“Let me help you with that box.” He stepped forward and took it from her. Then he turned toward her boat.

“You know I really don’t want your help with anything,” Julia said as she trailed behind him. “And I don’t need any more of your gifts.”

“Oh now that’s not very neighborly. You won’t survive the winter without my help. You know that. Don’t fight me.”

“Don’t act like we’re friends. You just want my grandfather’s cabin and land.”

Alex placed the box into the center of Julia’s boat. He stood and turned to face her.

His voice low and rough, he said, “The cabin is not all I want.”

Julia stumbled back a step. She hadn’t expected him to be so blunt. No wonder everyone thought he was dangerous.

“That’s not going to happen. I really don’t want anything to do with you. You’ve destroyed Primeval Lake!”

  “No, I’ve just redefined primeval.”

Julia frowned. “What do you mean?”

“Primeval means raw, elemental, an original state. It applies to feelings as well as nature. When’s the last time you let go? When’s the last time you screamed while having sex? Have you ever? Have you ever grabbed a man and kissed him just because you felt like it? Because that’s what I want to feel—primeval emotions where there is no room for thought. Where feeling takes over all my senses. Where I act, unconstrained by societal norms. When I lived in the city, I couldn’t act like that. I always had to think about how my actions were perceived. That’s part of the rules of living in society. That’s why I’m creating a new society. Where people can explore their passions and enjoy pleasure in whatever form it takes. That’s what I’m creating. The lake is still primeval, just primeval of another kind.”

  “Where women get hurt.”

“Only if they chose to, and not everyone here choses pain. Besides, it is not just women, men too. Some men really like a little pain with their pleasure. It’s all consensual, Julia. No one is hurt if they don’t want to be, but some people—men and women—really like being on the edge. I’m dedicated to creating a place where nearly everyone can explore his or her needs without condemnation. Don’t condemn us when you don’t know us.”

Julia swallowed hard. Her senses reeled from his passionate declarations. She wanted to scream for him or scream with him. She wanted to let go and set her senses free. She was tired of being a nice girl. She’d always wanted more from sex and here was a strong man promising to fulfill her dreams. She shoved aside her fantasies. That was all they were—fantasies. No one could keep the promises Alex was making. No matter how much she might want him, people were counting on her to resist his lure. Her grandfather’s cabin was all that stood in the way of Alex owning most of the lake. That wasn’t going to happen.

“I’m not some people,” she retorted. She moved to get into the boat.

Alex placed a hand on her arm and moved his mouth close to her ear. “How do you know if you don’t try?” he whispered.

Julia pulled away from him and got into her boat.

“Don’t forget the party tonight. Nothing will happen unless you want it to happen,” Alex called as she pulled the cord to start the motor.

The rest of his words were lost as she roared away from the dock and headed back to her cabin.

After the trip to town, Suzanne took a nap. Between the travel yesterday and her exertions upon arrival, she’d been near exhaustion. Now she was well rested and ready for the party tonight. She stretched and climbed out of bed. She made a quick trip to the bathroom before she headed to the kitchen. Halfway there, she stopped. On every other visit to the lake, she’d stayed at the mansion. She’d told Alex she wasn’t sure she wanted to buy in.

In reality, she had longed to live here but it had taken her a while to gather any money. Alex must have known her situation because he discounted the price and gave her a loan. He hadn’t made her swallow her pride to ask, he’d offered. Normally he didn’t give the cabins away. He made the price stiff enough so only committed people would want one. But he’d always been sweet to her and now she owned cabin number one. She slowly turned in a circle and grinned. She hadn’t really noticed it last night or earlier today. She’d been too tired. Now she recognized the fact that her cabin was perfect.

The cabin was small, only twelve hundred square feet but well thought out. Wooden beams held up the roof. The beams had six fully automated hooks built in at various locations. The hooks could be lowered and raised at the touch of a button. Alex had told her each was designed support the weight of three men.

To her right was the living room. The furniture looked ordinary but Suzanne knew hardly anything in the cabin was ordinary. The fireplace had rings on each side. Every chair had straps. Some of them could be reclined and their footstools split so a sub could be held open for pleasure.

Off to her left was the kitchen. Alex knew most of his friends didn’t cook so he hadn’t bothered with a full-feature kitchen. The tiny kitchen only contained a microwave, a toaster oven and a refrigerator. There was a full kitchen staff at the mansion and takeout food was always available since there were a few restaurants in the area.

There were two bedrooms. One was hers and it was sacrosanct, it had no toys. Although Alex said the bed did have straps and rings just in case. Alex had also told her she could add whatever she liked but he knew she preferred a private place to sleep, just as he did, and he’d provided that.

The second bedroom was where the real action would happen. There were no windows. A St. Andrew’s Cross had been built into the interior wall. Chains and whips lined another wall. The floor was tile with a drain at the center. After all, accidents happened and it was much easier to hose down a floor rather than trying to mop it.

The drain lay under a very special table. The center bench would hold the torso then there were all the extensions that could be pulled out to hold the head, the arms and the legs. The table moved any way Suzanne could imagine. There were rings beneath it as well as straps that could be used to hold down a recalcitrant sub. She’d never seen anything like it.

Alex had designed it and he knew how to play both as a sub and as a Dom. She couldn’t wait to try it out, as well as the sling that hung from the ceiling. Many of the toys were new to her. After so many years without a suitable place to explore her desires, such luxury was intoxicating. Finally free of the restrictions of civilized society she no longer had to rely on her imagination to discover the best tools. She could actually experiment in safety. She briefly debated finding a sub for a quick scene. Then she shook her head. Not yet.

It was nearly time to get ready for the party and Suzanne was not going to miss it. She loved Alex’s parties. She quickly ate a light snack then went to bathe. Her smile widened as she contemplated the evening to come. Alex had said the very existence of the place was a tribute to her teachings. She’d intr
oduced Alex to her brand of sex many years ago when he’d been barely legal. He’d thrived under her dominance. She remembered one scene in particular. She’d used a special cock ring on him off and on. She’d kept him in a constant state of arousal for nearly a week. Even his great physical endurance had flagged after that time. No other man had ever come close to that record. She regretted the fact that his natural strength had eventually caused him to fight free. She couldn’t dominate Alex anymore. He was too powerful and too good a Dom. They hadn’t played a scene in a very long time. Suzanne was just glad they were still friends.

  Chapter Five

Simply because they hadn’t played any scenes recently didn’t mean Alex had forgotten her though. He always managed to come up with someone she could enjoy. She didn’t know how he did it, how he found men who admitted their need to be weak, but he’d never let her down and now that he owned much of the lake, the games had gotten better. She no longer had to worry about soundproofing her play area and Alex had the best toys. Some of them he’d invented, like the table in the cabin.

Suzanne was astounded by his creativity. The play areas in the mansion were perfect. Most men would have stopped there but not Alex. He’d built all these delicious cabins too. Eleven cabins lined the north shore of the lake. Suzanne had seen his design. He planned another twelve cabins on the south shore for a total of twenty-three cabins. Each cabin cost a million dollars to rent for ninety-nine years and they came with numerous restrictions. They were never listed with a Realtor. Alex vetted potential occupants. Each owner had to agree to Alex’s rules, no exceptions. And he had many rules.

No one was permanently damaged. No unwilling play. Everything had to be consensual. He ran his parties with an iron hand and had no qualms about banishing anyone who wouldn’t follow the rules. Consequently the parties were fun and enjoyable for everyone. Suzanne had originally taught Alex her rules. The fact Alex hadn’t changed any of them made her very happy. She was awed by the fact he not only still followed them, he’d added a few more safeguards. He’d told her the other ideas had come from a man named Lucas. She didn’t know much about him, no one did. He’d sold out to go traveling just before their business had made a lot of money. Suzanne knew Alex was looking for him but hadn’t found him yet.

She couldn’t wait to meet Lucas. He’d had such creative ideas. Where had Alex found a lawyer to vet each potential guest? Suzanne had seen the contract. It was detailed and explicit. It meant she could play without worry because everything was clearly delineated. Only one thing bothered her.

She was the only woman in the cabins. All the rest had been purchased by men. Most of the men were Dominants. Suzanne had asked Alex if that wasn’t a little unbalanced. He shrugged. “It’s easy to find submissives, both men and women. Submissives usually don’t have the money to buy in.” He smiled. “Although we do have one new owner in cabin twelve I think you are really going to like.”

“I know a few other dominant women who would love to be here.”

“You’re welcome to invite them and if they have the money and the right philosophy, there are still a couple of empty cabins, or you can ask them as your guest. They can stay with you or at the mansion. Just remember they have to abide by the rules and most women don’t handle that well.”

Suzanne nodded. Her gender was far crueler than most men were. She’d met a few female dominants who went so far that Suzanne couldn’t watch them with submissives. For now, she came to the cabin alone. Maybe someday she’d find a friend or two but not just yet. She sighed and went to get ready for the evening and the guest from cabin twelve.

Jeff had spent a large part of his inheritance to buy cabin number twelve. It was too good an opportunity to miss—a camp on a lake where everyone was totally dedicated to sex games. Jeff was bisexual, though he preferred to be dominated by a woman, preferably older women. He loved serving. Alex had told him he’d be very happy with the owner of cabin number one.

Jeff itched for the party to get started. He wanted to walk to cabin one and introduce himself but he knew that would be too forward. He was supposed to be the perfect sub but he was too restless to stay still. It had been far too long since he’d played a scene. He couldn’t afford the risk of anyone finding out his secret. At least here he’d be protected. That was what Alex had promised, the freedom to explore with no condemnation. Privacy was a large concern to everyone here. Alex’s security system was state-of-the-art and as soon as Alex finished purchasing the rest of the lake there wouldn’t even be any public cabins.

Jeff stroked the table in the kitchen and hoped his Dom had one too. He couldn’t even enter the second bedroom. When he’d first seen all the toys, he’d sunk to the floor and masturbated, imagining how all of them would feel. Then he imagined his Dom punishing him for masturbating. He’d spent half a day in the room lost in a sexual haze before anyone had even touched him.

It was his first party. Alex had invited him to a few of the other ones but work commitments had prevented Jeff from attending. He’d had to plan for weeks to make it to this one. His friends knew he’d bought the cabin and they’d angled for invitations. He’d simply told them it was his escape and a chance for him to relax. He hadn’t told them it was his private haven and he had no intention of inviting people who weren’t part of his scene. Normal people just didn’t understand his desire for submission. He rubbed his cock. Another four hours. He didn’t know how he’d survive. He wanted to crawl out of his skin.

Julia watched the glow of the mansion. Every light blazed until it cast a reflection one hundred feet out on the lake. It was a beautiful jewel in the dark night, a beacon of warmth and welcome. Julia felt the allure it cast and finally decided to explore. If she went through the woods and got closer, she could spy on the inhabitants. Even if she wasn’t relaxed enough to play with them, nothing prevented her from living vicariously.

She eyed the dress Alex had given her. If she were smart she’d wear jeans, but the dress seemed to call to her. It was sheer gold gauze except for the built-in bra and panties. It was the most gorgeous dress she’d ever seen. She longed to wear it. Why shouldn’t she at least try it on? Her family and friends weren’t around to comment on the revealing garment.

She pulled her T-shirt over her head. Unzipped her jeans and pulled them off. The dress shimmered over her head. It fit perfectly, Julia realized with a start. How had Alex known her size? Dresses were usually too tight on the top and too lose around the hips but this one fit as if it had been made for her. She felt like a princess going to a masked ball. She giggled as she put on the mask and looked in the mirror.

The woman staring back at her was a stranger. A woman confident in her sexuality and comfortable in her body. That wasn’t Julia at all. She fingered a strand of hair and decided it should be up. She’d had long hair most of her life and plenty of practice, so it didn’t take her long to pin it up. She left a few strands dangling lose and caught her breath at the seductive picture she presented. She’d go to the party, just for a few moments.

She slipped into the sandals. They fit perfectly too. How odd was that? Shoes never fit right but these did. Was that symbolic of Alex’s magic? She shook her head. Just luck, nothing more.

Julia left the cabin and proceeded to make her way to the forest. She didn’t want to take her boat. That would be too public an announcement that she was attending the party. If she went through the woods, she’d be able to slip in and out unnoticed. The path to the mansion had been well used, giving credence to her grandfather’s claim that he and Alex visited often.

Julia stopped at the tree line. Up close, she could hear music drifting out. Sexy, hard-driving rock music. That surprised her. For some reason, she’d expected jazz but the rock music seemed to go straight to her cunt. The beat moved through her body, causing her to sway in time with it.

Through the windows, she saw people moving and mingling. Everyone looked as if they were havi
ng a good time. She wanted to be in the mansion. She wanted to meet new people. She wanted to see Alex again. She took a hesitant step forward and then stopped. What was she thinking? These people weren’t people she wanted to meet. They were Alex’s people, not hers. She gave a reluctant sigh and turned to leave.

  Alex blocked the path.

How had he gotten there? She hadn’t seen him leave the mansion. Had he been lying in wait?

As if he could read her mind, he said, “The grounds are wired with security cameras. I saw you coming up the path. I’m glad you could make it. You aren’t leaving before ever coming in, are you?”

“This was a mistake. Let me pass.”

“Was I right? Are you too shy to enter the party on your own? Please allow me to escort you.” He held out an arm.

  Julia took a step back.

  Alex let his arm drop.

“You look stunning in that outfit. I thought you would.”

His black jeans and black turtleneck contrasted with his crimson aura and highlighted his masculinity. He looked stunning too but she didn’t tell him. Instead she said, “Let me pass.”

“No. You’re judging me and mine without any evidence, just hearsay. Let me escort you in. Come and see who we really are.”

  Julia shook her head.

“Don’t chicken out now.” Alex challenged her. He took one step nearer.

Julia closed her eyes. Alex had no idea of what he was doing to her equilibrium. She longed to race into his arms and demand sex. She bit down a hysterical giggle. Alex thought she was judging and condemning his party. In reality she was fighting her own response and her desire to be an active participant at the party.

“Julia…” Alex took another step forward and circled his arm around her waist. He turned her around so they faced the mansion. “Let me teach you to let go.”

She didn’t resist when he led her toward the house and she didn’t protest as they went through the front door.

The entryway opened to a living room on the right. The room went from one side of the house to the other, creating a huge space filled with lots of people. People in various stages of undress, Julia realized. She hadn’t seen that through the windows. She stiffened and tried to pull away from Alex. He held her tight.
